Entrance Requirements

BSN to PhD A bachelor's of science in nursing degree from a nursing program accredited by the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC), Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) or other nationally recognized nursing education accrediting body.

MSN to PhD A bachelor's of science in nursing degree and a master's of science in nursing degree from a nursing program accredited by the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC), Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) or other nationally recognized nursing education accrediting body.

Please Note: Applicants who have a baccalaureate degree in nursing from a non-accredited program will be considered individually.

Fall Admission Only.

The deadline for applications is March 1st. Applications received after the deadline will continue to be accepted and processed until all spaces for the incoming class have been filled.

Please Note: All students accepted into the program are required to come to campus for 5 days once each year prior to the beginning of the Fall Semester to meet with their research advisor, other research faculty and students for the purpose of developing and refining research ideas.
