Welcome to the School of Nursing Faculty Practice Website!

The purpose of this website is to provide information and assistance to School of Nursing faculty who are currently practicing. Others who are interested in starting a faculty practice will also find this site useful.

School of Nursing faculty practice emanates from the UTMB mission to improve health for the people of Texas and around the world. Faculty are committed to increasing access to health care for underserved populations.

School of Nursing Advanced Practice Registered Nurse faculty practice in a variety of health care settings. These settings include nurse managed health clinics, urgent care clinics, internal medicine clinics, family medicine clinics, acute care, long-term care and psychiatric mental health setting.

Partnerships with UTMB Health System, School of Medicine and Community Practices provide faculty opportunities to develop faculty practices. The goal of the School of Nursing faculty practice council is to support, encourage, and enhance these partnerships.
