Areas of Research, Teaching, And Clinical Expertise and Scholarship

Dr. Feng has been a faculty member in UTMB SON since 2009. Dr. Feng's clinical expertise is in the area of cardiovascular disease management in geriatric population. She worked as a staff nurse on the Telemetry unit of Seton Medical Center, Austin. She has taught adult health I, II, health assessment, and nursing informatics courses in the BSN program. Her research interests include health promotion and self-care of cardiovascular disease in vulnerable populations. She has presented in the Southern Nursing Research Society conference and local conferences.
