Official Drop and Withdrawal Dates

The last day to add or drop a course without possible penalty or without having the course listed on the academic transcript is the census date.

The last day to withdraw from a full semester course is ten business days prior to the last class day. The last day to withdraw from courses less than a full semester is seven business days prior to the last class day. Please verify the course withdrawal date in Blackboard, as dates may need to be adjusted due to holidays. The course will be listed on the academic transcript with a "W". Students are required to meet with their Faculty Advisor if they wish to withdraw from a course or the program.

Students are not permitted to drop or withdraw from the last course on their schedule, as that is considered withdrawing from the term (instead of dropping or withdrawing from a class).

Please remember that dropping a course can affect financial aid.
