Open House

Please join us for a first-hand look at why so many students made UTMB School of Nursing their choice for advancing their professional nursing career. Register online for one of our upcoming dates.

We host Open House events on our campus in Galveston, Texas. School of Nursing faculty, staff, student ambassadors, and representatives from the Office of Enrollment Services participate to provide you with information about the entire process from obtaining your prerequisites through Commencement.

During your visit we will talk about:

Planned Activities

The Open House event will be held at the School of Nursing on the Galveston Campus. Registration begins at 1:00 pm, followed by several presentations starting at 1:30 pm, and wrapping up with a campus tour at 3:45 pm.

Directions to Our Campus

Our physical address is 1114 Mechanic Street, Galveston, Texas 77555, for GPS purposes. We do have quite of bit of construction in progress so please excuse our detours while we build the future road ahead in nursing!

All Open House events (excluding April) will be held in Levin Hall building. April's event will be held in Research Building 6, Room 1.206.

Take I-45 South which becomes Broadway when you arrive in Galveston. Continue to travel Broadway turning left at the light at 14th Street. Proceed on 14th Street to Harborside Drive and turn right. A few blocks on the right will be the public parking structure. Parking cost is the responsibility of attendees.

To locate our building, please use the campus map. The School of Nursing is identified as Building 57. The parking structure indicated in the above paragraph is Building P 94. After parking, exit the garage and walk one block towards Building 17. At this intersection (11th Street and Harborside), take a left and walk one block. Our building is across the street on the right.
