Congratulations on your upcoming Commencement! At this time, we are proceeding with plans for a live event with family and friends in attendance, and tickets are not required. However, this is subject to change based on public health considerations.

You do not need to apply for graduation, however, you must complete the Diploma Name Entry using the following steps:

1. Log into the MySTAR portal
2. Click the Profile box
3. On the Personal Details Tab (on left side of the page)
4. Click the plus sign button under Names
5. In the Add Name box, choose Diploma from the drop-down options for the Type
6. Leave prefix blank
7. Complete First, Middle, and Last Names
8. Click Save in the upper right corner

• 08:30 AM — Graduate check-in - North Lobby
• 08:30 AM — Doors open for family and guests
• 09:30 AM — Graduate lineup - North Lobby
• 10:00 AM — Commencement begins promptly
• 12:00 PM — Commencement ends (approximate)
• 12:00 PM — Regalia return - Southwest Lobby by escalator

Parking is available free of charge in the Moody Gardens Convention Center Parking Garage and surrounding parking lots.

UTMB photographers will take candid shots before and after the ceremony. In addition, a professional portrait will be taken of each graduate after you exit the stage. These proofs will be available for purchase at https://www.teamphotonetwork.com with son24 as the password.

A room block for overnight accommodations s is available at the Moody Gardens Hotel. A special rate of $197 per night for Thursday, April 18, 2024, through Sunday, April, 21, 2024, has been secured for our students.
