  • Computer Requirements

    For the best experience with online courses, we recommend our students' computers/laptops have a minimum of 4GB RAM, 256GB HDD, and a supported operating system (Windows 10). Macbooks are also acceptable. See more of our Standard Computer Requirements.

  • UTMB Wi-Fi Network(s)

    Did you know there are three (3) wireless networks available on campus: UTMBWifi, UTMBa & UTMBGuest. UTMBGuest is an unencrypted, public network purposed for hospital patients. All UTMB faculty, staff and students are strongly urged to use either UTMBWifi or UTMBa.

  • Available Mobile App(s)

    For those on the move, we recommend installing the following available mobile app(s): Tegrity Mobile, Poll Everywhere, Outlook & other Office apps. Though available, we do not recommend installing/using any Blackboard app(s) at this time.

  • OneDrive For Business

    Did you know, as part of the instant access to Office 365, all UTMB faculty, staff & students are allocated 1 TB of storage space in OneDrive? Did you also know you can access OneDrive from anywhere with internet? Check it out:

    About Us

    We specialize in course development, web & software development, database development & maintenance, videography, photography, and educational advancement. We are proficient with the most modern educational technology that improves the education process including, but not limited to: Office 365 cloud suite, Skype for Business, Blackboard, HTML5/CSS3, Tegrity, Poll Everywhere, Ensemble Video, VoiceThread, and Respondus/Blackboard Online Exams.


    At every orientation, we conduct a brief technology bootcamp for incoming students called eCamp. During this bootcamp, we introduce and discuss various technology topics including:

    • Connecting to UTMB wireless

    • Using UTMB email

    • Blackboard

    • Information Services
